The eyo masquerades of Lagos defy the heavy downpour of rain and continued their festival in Lagos yesterday as part of it events for Lagos @ 50
This came after it was said that a heavy rainfall was witnessed in some parts of Lagos. This set Nigerian Twitter on fire and some claimed that the ‘ rainfall was sent by the Ooni of Ife ’.

The Masquerades ignored the rain to hold their festival, marking the state’s 50th celebration .
