Nigeria COVID-19 Hits 5,162 As NCDC Announces 193 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday  announces 193 new cases of COVID-19 in Fourteen States and Federal Capital Tertiary.

The agency announced this on its official Twitter handle.

This brings the total number of cases in Nigeria to 5162

‪58 in Lagos‬, 46 in Kano‬, 35 in Jigawa‬
‪12 in Yobe‬, ‪9 in FCT‬, 7 in Ogun‬, 5 in Plateau‬ ‪5 in Gombe‬, ‪4 in Imo‬, 3 in Edo‬, ‪3 in Kwara‬, 3 in Borno, 1in Bauchi‬, 1in Nasarawa‬ and ‪1 in Ondo‬.

‪The number of discharged COVID-19 patients stand at 1180‬ while deaths hits 167

NCDC also reported that two cases reported yesterday from Kaduna, were repeat tests. Therefore, Kaduna has a total of 114 confirmed cases
