Nigerians have vowed to stage a protest at the Nigerian House in London come Monday, August 7 as President Muhammadu Buhari spends 87 days on medical vacation to London.
The seat-out protest is billed for 11am and signed by one Chidi Cali.
In a Facebook post sharing the information, Dr. Uwakwe-mangse Hanna, said “Buhari and his handlers want Nigerians to believe that he has returned to Nigeria, while the integrity challenged President is still in UK enjoying the comfort and security he denied millions back home.”
The organizers also said, “Nigeria must not continue being run by auto pilot. Buhari Must Resume Work Or Resign!!!!”
They further added that “President Buhari has been absent from work for 342 days (including 32 days – bed rest) out of his 796 days in office.
“This is not acceptable. Join us wherever you are in Europe.”
Since leaving the country on March 10, 2017, Buhari has played host to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, 10 state governors, National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun, and only recently, former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
