Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, yesterday paid the media mogul, Bashorun Dele Momodu, a visit in Lagos.
According to City News, Atiku came in company of his media team and some of his close associates in the South-West and from other parts of the country.
Although the reason for his visit is yet to be made known to journalists through a press release but we all know Atiku is still a very active politician and his reason for visiting Momodu might not be unconnected with his ambition to run for the first office in Nigeria come 2019.
Let us recall that Atiku just dumped the ruling All Progressive Congress after “I consulted God”.He also cited many reasons for leaving the APC and many political watchers and analysts are saying he’s most likely to retrace his steps back to the PDP,the political party he formed alongside others a couple of years ago.
The real reasons for Atiku’s pandering towards Momodu at this point in time has to do with the fact that the latter, apart from being a media powerhouse in the country has also become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to setting political agenda in Nigeria.
