An armed security guard foiled an attempt by a two armed robbery gang with fake guns to rob a suspected 7-Eleven’s store in Hamilton, New Jersey.

The attack captured in a CCTV footage showing two men entering the store on Thursday night. One of the suspects hopped over the counter and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the cashier who began to empty the cash drawer.

Unfortunately, the two men ran out of luck, when an armed guard entered the store firing his revolver from the door. The guard shot one of the robbers in the arm, before leaning over the counter and shoot the other robber who screamed the gun was a fake. “Oh well, mine’s real!” said the guard.

He then ordered the cashier to call 911.

According to New Jersey 101.5,  Hamilton police say they don’t know anything about the incident and employees at the two 7-Elevens near Hamilton West High School say it didn’t happen at their locations.

Hamilton Police Lt. Michael Kelvy, who is investigating the two robberies, told New Jersey 101.5 that if the video is legitimate and both known cases are still under investigation.
