Morenikeji Adeleke, a gospel singer popularly known as Egbin Orun, has passed away.
The news was confirmed in an Instagram post on Sunday by her colleague Esther Igbekele.
Expressing shock and sadness, Igbekele wrote, “Egbin Orun departed suddenly without bidding farewell.” She mentioned that they had recently spoken, unaware of the impending tragedy.
Igbekele praised Egbin Orun‘s beauty, kindness, and strong support for her ministry. She lamented the sudden loss, mentioning that she had just spoken with Egbin Orun last week, unaware that she was about to embark on a journey to the great beyond. Igbekele described Egbin Orun as a beautiful, kind-hearted woman and a dedicated supporter of her ministry.
Deeply saddened by the news, Igbekele remarked that Egbin Orun would be greatly missed, and her good deeds would be remembered fondly. She bid Egbin Orun good night, wishing her to rest peacefully in the bosom of Christ.
As of now, the cause of Egbin Orun’s death remains undisclosed, and no official statement has been issued regarding her passing.
